Elelim, April 3, 2025 – The Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 (Ops Damai Cartenz-2025) conducted dialogic patrols in Yalimo Regency on Thursday (3/4) to maintain public security and order. This initiative aims to create a safe and conducive environment through a more communicative and humanitarian approach.
The dialogic patrols are designed to reinforce police presence within the community, foster effective communication with residents, and prevent potential security disturbances. Additionally, these activities serve as early detection measures for potential conflicts and provide legal education to the public.
Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz-2025, Chief Commissioner of Police (Kombes Pol) Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized the importance of police presence in building public trust and a sense of security.
“Providing a sense of security to the community through the presence of police among them, establishing good communication between law enforcement officers and residents, preventing public order disturbances, and anticipating potential conflicts through early detection are some of the main objectives of this dialogic patrol,” stated Kombes Pol Adarma.
Similarly, Head of Public Relations for Ops Damai Cartenz-2025, Kombes Pol Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., urged the Yalimo community to actively participate in maintaining their local security.
“Security and order are our shared responsibilities. Let us unite to create a safe and harmonious Yalimo. If there are any suspicious activities or security disturbances, please report them immediately to the nearest police officers,” concluded Kombes Pol Yusuf Sutejo.
These dialogic patrols are expected to enhance public awareness of the importance of maintaining security stability and strengthen the synergy between the police and the community.
