Jakarta – Three personnel of the Police Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 received awards at the Kompolnas Awards 2026 in the individual category for personnel assigned to regional conflict operation task forces.
The awards recognized their performance and dedication in carrying out police duties in the operational area.
The three award recipients were First Inspector of Police Suratman, a member of the Information and Communication Technology Sub-Task Force under the Support Task Force; Second Police Brigadier Isak S. Kafiar, a member of the Law Enforcement Task Force; and Police Chief Brigadier I Ketut Murtina, A.Md.Kep., a member of the Action Task Force of the Police Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026.
The awards were presented during the Kompolnas Awards 2026 ceremony at the Ballroom of the Sari Pacific Hotel in Jakarta on Thursday (September 17, 2026).
The event was organized by the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) as an appreciation for police units and personnel who demonstrated performance, innovation, integrity, leadership, and meaningful contributions in carrying out their duties.
For individual awards, the Kompolnas Awards 2026 adopted the 5P framework: People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership. Special categories included Peacekeeper, personnel assigned to regional conflict operation task forces, and personnel from the Counterterrorism Special Detachment 88.
For institutional categories, nominations covered police sectors, district police departments, provincial police departments, and work units at the National Police Headquarters.
The assessment process was conducted in several stages, including preliminary assessment, selection of nominees, in-depth evaluation and field visits, followed by final assessment by the judging panel. The process was designed to ensure that the evaluation was objective and based on evidence.
During the ceremony, National Police Chief General of Police Drs. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, M.Si., said the awards should not merely serve as a ceremonial event, but should encourage police personnel and units to continuously improve their performance and the quality of public services.
“These awards should certainly not stop at the ceremony,” said the National Police Chief in his remarks.
He also said that Kompolnas serves as a partner to the National Police as stipulated under Indonesia’s Police Law. Kompolnas plays a role in conducting oversight, providing strategic recommendations and input, and receiving public complaints that can serve as material for evaluation and improvement within the National Police.
According to the National Police Chief, this role is not limited to oversight and evaluation, but also includes assessing and recognizing police units and personnel who demonstrate strong performance.
“Kompolnas does not stop at evaluation, but also takes part in assessing police work units. Alhamdulillah, today the awards were given not only to work units, but also to personnel,” he said.
Separately, Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026 Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., expressed his appreciation to all personnel who have demonstrated dedication and commitment in carrying out their duties during the Police Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026.
He said the awards received by the three personnel represented recognition of their dedication and hard work, while also serving as motivation for all personnel to continue providing their best service to the community.
“These awards are a form of appreciation for the dedication and performance of our personnel in carrying out their duties. We are proud and extend our highest appreciation to the personnel who have demonstrated dedication and responsibility in carrying out their assignments,” said the Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026.
He emphasized that the achievement was also the result of the collective efforts of all personnel who continue to perform their duties professionally and responsibly throughout the operational area.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2026 Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., encouraged all personnel to use the recognition as motivation and an example for strengthening their dedication while carrying out their assignments.
“These awards serve as motivation for all of us. We hope the dedication demonstrated by the award recipients can become an example for other personnel to continue giving their best in carrying out their duties,” said Adarma.
He also reminded personnel to maintain professionalism, solidarity, and a strong spirit of service, particularly in carrying out their responsibilities to provide security and public services in the operational area.
The Kompolnas Awards is an annual recognition program organized by the National Police Commission for police units and personnel considered to have demonstrated performance, integrity, innovation, and contributions to police duties.
In 2026, the Kompolnas Awards entered its fifth edition, involving police units from the National Police Headquarters to regional police structures across Indonesia.
