Pegunungan Bintang – Joint personnel from the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force conducted a joint patrol using a humanistic approach in Modusit Village, Serambakon District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, on Thursday (May 14, 2026). The activity focused on dialogue patrols, providing health services, and distributing clothing to the local community as a demonstration of the officers’ concern for residents in remote areas.
The activity, led by Inspector Budi Utomo, the Pegunungan Bintang Sector Commander, involved 15 joint personnel who traveled together to Modusit Village to greet and build close relationships with the community. The presence of officers among the residents demonstrates the Cartenz Peace Operations Task Force’s commitment to building harmonious and familial relationships with the Papuan people.
Upon arrival at the location, the joint personnel conducted dialogue patrols by directly meeting with the community to establish good communication and strengthen ties. During the activity, officers also provided health services to residents in need and distributed clothing to the community as a form of social care and concern.
The presence of officers was welcomed positively by the local community. A friendly atmosphere was evident as personnel interacted with residents, listened to their aspirations, and provided public order and security advice in a humane manner. This approach is part of an effort to build trust and create a sense of security within the community.
In addition to carrying out social activities, joint personnel also monitored the security situation in the Serambakon District to anticipate potential disturbances. By the end of the patrol, personnel had not observed any suspicious activity that could disrupt regional security.
From the results of the patrol and monitoring, the public order and security situation in Oksibil City and Serambakon District was observed to be safe and conducive. Community activities proceeded normally, and no significant disturbances were observed that could potentially disrupt security stability in the area.

Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that a humanistic approach will continue to be a priority in carrying out his duties in Papua. According to him, the presence of officers among the community is not only to maintain security stability, but also to build emotional closeness and provide a sense of security for residents.
“Through dialogue patrols and social activities such as health services and aid distribution to the community, we want to demonstrate that the officers are also friends and partners of the community in maintaining peace in Papua,” said Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of the Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation, Senior Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that dialogue patrols and social activities are strategic steps to strengthen communication between officers and the community in the Papua Highlands region.
“A humanistic approach through dialogical patrols is a crucial part of creating a safe and conducive public order and security situation. Through effective communication, the public can directly experience the presence of the police as protectors and partners in maintaining peace in Papua,” said Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga.
Through these activities, the Carstensz Peace Operation Task Force continues to affirm its commitment to prioritizing a persuasive and humanistic approach to maintaining security and stability in Papua, while also assisting the community through social services and community activities directly in the field.
