Nabire – Efforts to maintain security and peace in Nabire Regency continue to be strengthened through collaboration between the government, security forces, and all elements of society. A human-centered approach remains the key to creating a safe, comfortable, and harmonious environment for all residents.
The Regent of Nabire, Mesak Magai, emphasized that maintaining public security and order is not solely the responsibility of security personnel, but a shared duty that must be upheld collectively, starting from the smallest community units.
According to him, community activities in Nabire are currently running safely, smoothly, and orderly. However, several social challenges still need to be addressed wisely and humanely, including social conflicts, road block practices, and traffic accidents.
“As a regional leader, I invite all levels of society to work together in maintaining public security and order so that development and community activities can run properly and smoothly,” he stated while speaking to the media on Wednesday (March 25, 2026).
Furthermore, the Regent highlighted the importance of the government’s presence within the community through direct, responsive, and empathetic public services. He expressed hope that all regional officials can provide the best possible service, ensuring that the public feels safe, valued, and satisfied.
In addition, he reminded all Civil Servants (ASN) within the Nabire Regional Government to maintain neutrality, avoid practical political influence, and refrain from spreading hoaxes that could trigger public unrest.
With a spirit of togetherness and a human-centered approach, Nabire Regency is expected to continue developing as a peaceful, safe, and conducive region for all members of the community.
