Sinak – Efforts to maintain public security and order (kamtibmas) continue to be reinforced by the Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz-2026 through security measures for the Eid al-Fitr prayer, as well as patrols and observations in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, on March 21, 2026.
The activities carried out on Saturday (March 21) targeted several strategic locations, including Sinak Market and Ar Rochim Mosque. Personnel from the Law Enforcement Task Force of Operation Damai Cartenz-2026 not only conducted security operations but also engaged directly with the community by participating in the Eid al-Fitr prayer as part of the Indonesian National Police’s humanistic approach.
All series of activities proceeded safely and under control. The presence of security personnel among the community received a positive response and provided a sense of safety for residents in carrying out worship and activities in public areas.
The Head of Operation Damai Cartenz-2026, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that security during religious holidays is a priority to ensure a conducive situation.
“This security effort reflects our commitment to ensuring that the community can carry out their worship safely and solemnly. The Police are present not only as guardians of security but also as partners of the community,” he stated.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Operation Damai Cartenz-2026, Senior Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., highlighted the importance of a humanistic approach in every field operation.
“A humanistic approach through security measures and direct engagement with the community is key to maintaining public security stability. We want to ensure that the presence of the Police is truly felt and beneficial to the community,” he said.
In addition to securing the prayer activities, personnel also conducted visual observations at Sinak Market to anticipate potential security disturbances. This measure is considered effective in maintaining regional stability and increasing public trust in security forces.
This activity is part of the ongoing commitment of Operation Damai Cartenz-2026 to maintain a safe, peaceful, and conducive situation in Papua, especially during the Eid al-Fitr celebration.
