JAYAPURA – PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku ensures the availability of fuel oil (BBM) and LPG in safe conditions ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijriah. This certainty was conveyed as people’s energy consumption increased in the second week of Ramadan.
Area Manager Communication, Relations & CSR Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku, Ispiani Abbas, in his press statement, Saturday, said that his party has prepared various anticipatory steps to maintain the smooth distribution and energy services during the Ramadan period until Eid al-Fitr.
“Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures that fuel services are in good condition and prepares mitigation measures in a number of regions to anticipate the potential increase in needs during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr,” he said.
He explained, the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force (Satgas) has been alerted to ensure the reliability of energy supply, as well as to supervise the distribution to all distribution institutions so that it runs according to plan and on time.
Currently, the average stock endurance of all BBM and LPG products in the Papua and Maluku regions is above the next 12 days. The availability will continue to be maintained through periodic supplies that go into the BBM terminal, so that the needs of the community are still met without significant obstacles.
Pertamina also ensures intensive coordination with all stakeholders to anticipate potential distribution disruptions, especially in areas with challenging geographical access.
