Paniai, Central Papua — A joint patrol by the Damai Cartenz Task Force and Paniai Police brought both security and smiles to residents of Bibida District, Paniai Regency, on Saturday (Sept. 20, 2025).
Starting at 1:45 p.m. local time, the patrol went beyond routine security measures. Officers greeted residents, handed out food packages and snacks, and spent time with children along the route. The participation of Bhayangkari, the police officers’ wives association, added warmth to the event while also marking the anniversary of Paniai Police Traffic Unit.
“The patrol is not only about maintaining order, but also about being present with care and fostering trust,” said Brig. Gen. Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, Chief of Damai Cartenz Operation.
Deputy Chief Commissioner Adarma Sinaga echoed the message, stressing that peace relies on cooperation. “The people of Bibida have shown us that harmony is possible when we walk together,” he said.
With its human-centered approach, the Damai Cartenz Task Force reaffirmed its commitment to accompany Papuans, ensuring security while nurturing peace and community trust.
