Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 Builds Closeness Through Shared Meal with Kiwirok Residents

Pegunungan Bintang, Highland Papua — A warm and familial atmosphere filled the air in Kiwirok District as the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 held a shared meal with local residents on Saturday (6/9/2025). The event served as a tangible expression of the security forces’ commitment to a humanist and persuasive approach.

Led by personnel from the Tindak Task Unit, Ipda Munawar and Ipda Pande Made Rama, S.Tr.K., the task force members were present not just as security personnel, but also as friends and family to the people of Kiwirok. Though the event was modest, it left a lasting impression of togetherness in the hearts of many.

From children and teenagers to elders, everyone participated with enthusiasm. Sitting together on mats, the community and task force members enjoyed local dishes in a relaxed and friendly environment. The children’s laughter, mothers’ smiles, and heartfelt conversations among the men and the officers brought warmth to the chilly highland air.

Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that such activities are part of the task force’s mission to build strong, harmonious relationships with the local community.

“Maintaining security isn’t just about physical presence — it’s also about emotional closeness. Sharing a meal is a simple yet meaningful way to show our care and goodwill,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.

Echoing this sentiment, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., who serves as the Deputy Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, highlighted that a humanitarian approach is the core of the task force’s strategy in Papua.

“We want the community to see us not only as security personnel, but as part of Papua’s extended family. Together, we can build sustainable peace,” stated Chief Comm. Adarma.

Through these respectful and heartfelt interactions, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 hopes to continue strengthening the bond with local communities and nurturing mutual trust. A peaceful and safe Papua cannot be achieved solely through force, but also through genuine compassion, empathy, and shared commitment to building a better future.
