Jayapura — A prominent Papuan academic, Dr. Alfius Aninam, S.Th., M.Pd., has expressed his appreciation and recognition to Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 for their success in carrying out law enforcement actions against Armed Criminal Groups (KKB), particularly in the regions of Jayawijaya (Wamena) and Mimika on Monday (15/6/25).
Dr. Alfius stated that the measures taken by the task force have had a significant positive impact on the stability of security in Papua. He emphasized that these operations have helped reduce fear and anxiety that have long plagued communities due to the actions of KKB.
“The security forces, especially Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, have demonstrated their commitment to being present for and protecting the people. We highly commend their dedication and bravery,” he said.
He further expressed his hope that these law enforcement efforts will not be a one-time action but will continue consistently as a means to maintain peace and order throughout Papua.
“Law enforcement must be upheld against anyone who threatens public safety. This is crucial to ensuring a secure and harmonious life for all Papuans,” he added.
In closing, Dr. Alfius called on all elements of society to uphold unity and support the ongoing peace efforts.
“Through unity, we can keep Papua safe and peaceful,” he concluded.
