Head of the Jayawijaya Regency Red and White Front, Hengky Haselo, called for the importance of maintaining security stability ahead of the simultaneous regional elections scheduled for November 27, 2024. In his statement, Hengky emphasized that the regional elections are not only the responsibility of the security forces, but also the community itself.
“Let’s work together to maintain a conducive and safe situation. We must all work together so that the 2024 regional elections run smoothly and peacefully without any detrimental disturbances,” said Hengky Haselo, recently.
Hengky hopes that with the full support of the Jayawijaya community, the regional elections can be carried out in an orderly manner, and produce leaders who can advance the region and meet the expectations of the community. He reminded all parties to always maintain peace and avoid conflicts that can damage the social order.
“The success of the regional elections is very dependent on the active participation of the community in maintaining security. We must not be provoked by issues that are not clear about the truth,” added Hengky.
Furthermore, Hengky also highlighted the importance of accurate and reliable information, and reminded the public not to be easily influenced by news that could divide unity. He emphasized that maintaining harmony and peace during the Pilkada is a shared responsibility.
“Don’t be easily provoked by fake news that can increase tension. Let’s respect each other and maintain security together so that the 2024 Pilkada can run smoothly,” he said.
Collaboration between the community, security forces, and other institutions will be the key to maintaining security in Jayawijaya Regency. Hengky hopes that through this collaboration, the Pilkada can produce leaders who bring positive change to the region and improve people’s welfare.
“Security is the key to the success of the Pilkada, and by working together, we can realize a peaceful, safe Pilkada and produce the best leaders,” concluded Hengky Haselo.
