Yapen – Dani Pihahei as an Indigenous People Leader in Yapen Islands Regency invites the public in general not to be provoked by the West Papua National Committee (KNPB) Action to commemorate August as the month of racist and the history of the New York Agreement by appealing to all Papuan people on August 15, 2024, where currently there has been Nabire chaos.
“Don’t be provoked by the action, don’t be provoked, we continue to join hands to maintain the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia, especially in maintaining the Kamtibmas in Yapen Islands Regency”.
He added, security and a harmony between each other that has been well established in Yapen Islands Regency to be closely guarded as citizens of the Republic of Indonesia.
On this occasion, he also invited the public to enliven the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia in 2024.
