Papua – The presence of the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force 2026 is not only realized through efforts to maintain security stability in Papua, but also through real humanitarian actions that directly touch the community. One of them is realized through social service activities carried out in two orphanages in Keerom Regency, Papua, Wednesday (6/3/2026).
The social service activities carried out by the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force 2026 targeted the Muhammadiyah Arso X Orphanage and the Shalom Arso VIII Orphanage. But more than just giving help, the presence of the personnel becomes a moment that brings warmth and closeness to children who live far away from the family’s embrace.
At the Shalom Arso VIII Orphanage, a cheerful atmosphere can be seen when children and Task Force personnel play together. Laughter was heard when various simple games were held. Children from various inland areas of Papua, starting from Korowai, the border of Keerom to the Bintang Mountains, seemed enthusiastic to introduce themselves and share stories about their dreams.
The togetherness creates a warm and familiar atmosphere. There is no barrier between the apparatus and the community. All that can be seen is a group of Papuan children who enjoy the attention, affection, and togetherness from the personnel present.
In addition to interacting with children, the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force 2026 also handed over social assistance to the managers of the two orphanages as a form of concern for the daily needs of children under the care of the orphanage.
Head of Cartenz Peace Operations 2026, Inspector General of Police. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., said that social activities are part of the commitment of the Cartenz Peace Operation to be closer to the Papuan people, especially the younger generation.
“Papuan children are the future of the nation that we must protect and support together. Through activities like this, we want to show that the presence of the state is not only in the form of security, but also through attention, care, and affection to the community,” said Inspector General of Police. According to him, building a safe and peaceful Papua is not only done through law enforcement efforts, but also by strengthening humanitarian relations and fostering hope for the next generation.
In line with that, Deputy Head of Cartenz 2026 Peace Operations, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that the humanist approach will continue to be an important part of the implementation of the Cartenz Peace Operation.
“Seeing children’s smiles and happiness is a positive energy for us. The presence of personnel in the community is expected to provide motivation and spirit for Papuan children to continue to learn, grow, and achieve a better future,” said Kombes Pol. Adarma Sinaga
He added that building closeness with the community is one of the important foundations in creating a safe, peaceful, and harmonious situation in Papua.
The activity that takes place full of warmth becomes an image that the touch of humanity has a great meaning. In the midst of various challenges, the smiles of Papuan children are a reminder that hope always grows from care, togetherness, and sincere attention.
Through this social service, the Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation Task Force again shows that protecting Papua is not only about creating a sense of security, but also brings happiness and hope for generations that will continue the future of Bumi Cenderawasih.
