TIMIKA, CENTRAL PAPUA – The concern for the education of Papuan children was shown by the Task Force Police Operation Peace Cartenz through the distribution of bags and school supplies to elementary school students in the Pomako area, Mimika Regency, Thursday (1/10/2026).
The activity targeted two schools, namely Elementary school Pigapu and One pomako public elementary school. A total of 500 school bags were distributed, with details of 200 bags for Pigapu Elementary School students and 300 bags for One pomako public elementary school students.
The activity is led by the Head of the Task Force Assistence Operation Peace Cartenz-2026 Chief Commissioner of Police Bambang Widiatmoko, S.H., M.M., together with the Public Relations Task Force of Peace Cartenz-2026 AKBP Andria, S.I.K., as well as the personnel of the Task Force Police Ooeration Peace Cartenz-2026.
For the Task Force Police Ooeration Peace Cartenz-2026, the distribution of school supplies is not just a distribution of assistance, but a form of concern for the needs of children in undergoing education. School bag is one of the equipment used by students in daily learning activities.
The presence of Task Force personnel was also welcomed by the school and the students. Children look enthusiastic when receiving help or when interacting with the personnel present.
The Head of Pigapu State Elementary School Juwita Marice Meryam Bieths expressed his gratitude for the visit and attention given by the Task Force Police Ooeration Peace Cartenz-2026 to the school and the students.
According to him, the presence of the Task Force gives its own spirit to children. Assistance in the form of bags and study equipment is also considered to help meet the needs of students in participating in educational activities.

“We are excited, we are also happy that there is this task force because by itself we feel the security around the environment we live in and our area can be safe from threats or from people who act anarchic. So we really need a task force to be able to work with other teams for peace and comfort in our area,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of One pomako public elementary school, Sofyan Hadi, S.Pd., Gr., expressed his appreciation for the attention of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz towards the educational needs of the students.
According to him, support in the form of school supplies has direct benefits for children because it is used in daily learning activities. That attention is also an encouragement for students to stay excited to follow the learning.
The activity is one of the forms of the humanist approach of the Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation Task Force in building communication with the community. Attention to education is done by touching the simple needs that children directly use at school.
Through the distribution of bags and study supplies, the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz hopes that this support can help students in carrying out educational activities as well as grow their enthusiasm to continue learning and pursuing their dreams.

Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2026, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., said that attention to education is an important part in building the future of the young generation in Papua. According to him, the support given is not only in the form of goods assistance, but also a form of concern to encourage children to still have the spirit in pursuing education.
