PUNCAK JAYA, PAPUA PEGUNUNGAN – The walking patrol of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz personnel in the Puncak Jaya Sector from the Kulirik Post, Muara District, Sunday (9/13/2026), continued to the GIDI Dondobaga Church. There, personnel meet children who are attending Sunday School and distribute snacks.
Personnel walked from the Kulirik Post to the residential area to the GIDI Dondobaga Church. Along the way, they greeted the residents they met.
In the church yard, the personnel then interacted with the children who were participating in Sunday School activities. In addition to greeting, the personnel distributed snacks to the children before continuing the patrol activities.
The Chairman of the GIDI Dondobaga Church Council, Kirenius Telenggeng, expressed his gratitude for the visit and gifts given to the children.
“Good morning, thank you and welcome to Brimob Damai Cartenz Pos Dondobaga. Thank you also for the kindness to the Sunday School children here. May the Almighty God accompany the duties and responsibilities of Brimob Dondobaga. Thank you,” said Kirenius.
For personnel who run patrols, the meeting took place in between activities to maintain regional security. Interaction with residents and children becomes part of direct communication as long as they move from one point to another.
Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2026, Inspector General of Police. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., said that patrols are also an opportunity for personnel to communicate directly with the community.
“Patrol is not only about maintaining security, but also how the personnel are present, greeting and listening to the community. Good communication will help build a sense of security and public trust,” said Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2026.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Operations Peace Cartenz-2026, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., said that interaction with the community is part of the implementation of personnel duties in the field.
“The presence of personnel in the community is expected to provide a sense of security and build good relationships. Greeting residents and paying attention to children is a simple thing, but it is part of the efforts to bring the officers closer to the community,” said Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2026.
The patrol has been going on since morning and has been running safely and smoothly. The situation of public security and order in Muara District, including the Dondobaga area, is observed to be conducive and residents’ activities run as usual.
After interacting with residents and children at GIDI Dondobaga Church, the personnel continued patrolling according to the predetermined route.
