KIWIROK, PEGUNUNGAN BINTANG – Eight months of carrying out duties in Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, personnel of the Task Force police Operation Peace Cartenz built closeness with the community in 12 villages. The togetherness that is established during the assignment becomes part of the story that is not only related to security duties, but also human relationships.
The moment of togetherness was seen in the meal activity with the Kiwirok people which was combined with a farewell event to welcome the personnel of the Task Force police Operation Peace Cartenz-2026. In a simple and familiar atmosphere, old personnel and new personnel together with the community sat down to enjoy food and talk to strengthen the relationship before the handover of the task.
In the midst of the atmosphere, the Head of Kiwirok District, Abdeus Tepmul, representing the community from 12 villages expressed his gratitude to the personnel who have been and carried out their duties with the community for approximately eight months. The delivery was delivered on Monday (9/7/2026).
“On behalf of the community from 12 villages, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to you and the entire group of the Cartenz-2026 Peace Operations Task Force who have been with us for approximately eight months. While here, you and all the personnel have given attention, maintained and built an extraordinary togetherness with the community,” said Abdeus.
For the Kiwirok people, the meeting is not just an activity of eating together. After months of meeting and interacting, the welcoming atmosphere of separation made the relationship that was built feel closer. Light conversation, greeting each other, and enjoying food in one place are part of the moment that warms up the atmosphere.
Abdeus said, the togetherness for eight months has made the relationship between the community and the Task Force personnel feel closer. According to him, the interaction that occurs in daily life has fostered a sense of mutual acquaintance and trust.
“For us, being together for these eight months is not just a task, but has become a family relationship that we will always remember. We also apologize if during the togetherness there are mistakes, shortcomings, or things that are not pleasing, both in words and deeds,” he said.
He hopes that the good relationship that has been formed will be maintained in the implementation of the separation to welcome the Task Force personnel. Abdeus also expressed his appreciation to the old personnel for the attention and assistance that has been given during the course of carrying out their duties, as well as welcoming new personnel who will continue their service in Kiwirok.
“We hope that the togetherness and good relationship that has been built so far can continue. To the personnel who will continue their duties elsewhere, we would like to thank you for all the attention, assistance and togetherness that has been given. To the new personnel, we welcome and hope to continue to maintain security and peace together in Kiwirok,” he said.
Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2026, Inspector General of Police. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., expressed his gratitude for the acceptance of the Kiwirok community during the personnel’s duties.
“While in Kiwirok, we not only carry out our duties, but also try to build communication and good relationships with the community. We are grateful because the community has accepted and supported our personnel during carrying out their duties here,” said Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2026.
According to him, the welcome separation activity is an important part in maintaining the continuity of the task and a good relationship between the Task Force personnel and the community. The replacement of personnel is expected not to reduce the communication and cooperation that has been established.
“Our message to the people of Kiwirok and 12 villages, to maintain brotherhood, security and peace. Do not be easily provoked by information that can break the relationship between people. We hope that the good relationship that has been built can be maintained and continued with new personnel,” he said.
Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., said that together for eight months became a valuable experience for the personnel who served in Kiwirok.
“Eight months is a long enough time to build communication and closeness with the community. We really appreciate the welcome, support and trust that the community has given to the Cartenz-2026 Peace Ops personnel. This kind of relationship becomes an important capital to maintain security together,” said Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2026.
The moment of eating together and parting each other marked the end of a series of assignments for some personnel as well as the beginning of tasks for new personnel.
