Jayapura, Papua – The Head of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by senior officials of the operation, conducted an assistance and inspection visit to police task force posts operating under Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, on Monday (August 3, 2026).
The visit began with inspections of the Tactical Task Force Post, the Law Enforcement Task Force Post, and the Sinak Sector Police Station. During the inspection, Inspector General Faizal held direct discussions with deployed personnel to assess operational readiness, review the condition of supporting facilities, and ensure that logistics and equipment required for field operations were adequately available.
Addressing officers during the visit, the Head of the operation encouraged personnel to maintain a strong commitment to public service, uphold discipline, strengthen teamwork, and perform their duties professionally in accordance with established procedures.
“The mission we carry out is a form of service to both the community and the nation. Perform every duty with responsibility, maintain professionalism and solidarity, and continue providing a sense of security through humane and people-oriented policing,” Inspector General Faizal said.
In addition to the operational assessment, personnel assigned to Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 carried out community engagement activities with residents of Sinak District. Officers distributed meals to local children, interacted with community members, and purchased agricultural produce sold by Indigenous Papuan women, demonstrating support for local livelihoods while strengthening positive relations with the community.
The activities were marked by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with residents expressing appreciation for the officers’ presence and describing the engagement as an important step toward strengthening trust between security personnel and the local community.
One Indigenous Papuan woman selling produce near the activity expressed her gratitude.
“We are happy that the police officers came, bought our harvest, and greeted the community kindly. We hope the situation remains peaceful so we can continue working and supporting our families,” she said.
Concluding the visit, Inspector General Faizal emphasized that the success of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 should not be measured solely by law enforcement and security outcomes, but also by the ability of personnel to build meaningful communication and earn public confidence.
“Success is reflected not only in maintaining a secure and stable public order environment, but also in the trust that communities place in the Indonesian National Police. Therefore, continue carrying out every duty with professionalism, proportionality, and a human-centered approach,” he stressed.
