Cartenz Peace Task Force Strengthens Closeness with Residents through Dialogic Patrols in Talilime

Mulia – Personnel from the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force conducted a dialogic patrol in Talilime Village, Puncak Jaya Regency, as an effort to strengthen relations with the community and ensure that public order and security (kamtibmas) are maintained.

The patrol, conducted on foot through the village, is part of the humanistic approach consistently prioritized by the Cartenz Peace Task Force in carrying out its duties in Central Papua on Monday (June 8, 2026).

In addition to monitoring security conditions, personnel also engaged in direct dialogue with residents to listen to their concerns and convey messages of public order and security, urging them to maintain unity, not be easily influenced by unverified information, and immediately report any potential security disturbances in their neighborhoods.

Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that the dialogue patrols are one of the ongoing steps taken to strengthen the relationship between security forces and the community.

“The presence of personnel in the community is not only aimed at maintaining security stability, but also at building good communication and fostering public trust in the police. We want to ensure that the community can carry out their daily activities safely and comfortably,” said the Head of the Cartenz Peace Operations.

According to Inspector General Faizal Ramadhani, an approach that prioritizes communication and direct interaction with the community is a crucial part of creating a conducive situation in the Puncak Jaya area.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of the Cartenz Peace Operations, Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that public safety and security are the top priority in every personnel task in the field.

“The Carstensz Peace Task Force is committed to continuing its presence with the community. Through dialogue patrols and other community activities, we strive to ensure the safety of residents while strengthening synergy in maintaining public order and security,” he said.

Residents of Talilime Village welcomed the patrols. The presence of personnel interacting directly with the community is seen as providing a sense of security and demonstrating the state’s commitment to protecting communities even in remote areas.

During the patrols, the situation in Talilime Village was observed to be safe and conducive. The Carstensz Peace Operation Task Force ensures that dialogue patrols will continue to be carried out routinely as part of efforts to maintain security stability and strengthen harmonious relations with the community in Puncak Jaya Regency.
