John Tabo Encourages PAUD Mothers to Prepare Reliable Future Generations in Highland Papua

Wamena, Highland Papua — Governor of Highland Papua John Tabo expressed hope that the Early Childhood Education (PAUD) Mothers organization would play an active role in preparing a reliable, intelligent, and well-characterized young generation in the region. The statement was delivered during the inauguration of district-level PAUD Mothers administrators across Highland Papua in Wamena, Jayawijaya Regency.

During the event, the provincial government emphasized the importance of early childhood education as the primary foundation for developing quality human resources in the future. According to John Tabo, the development of Highland Papua should not only focus on infrastructure, but also on improving children’s education from an early age.

“Children in Highland Papua must be prepared properly from an early stage so they can grow into a competitive individuals with strong character who are capable of building their own region,” John Tabo stated in his remarks.

He added that the role of PAUD Mothers is highly strategic because they not only support children’s educational development, but also encourage the involvement of families and communities in creating a healthy and quality learning environment.

Therefore, the provincial government urged all PAUD Mothers administrators in the eight regencies to work closely with educators and local governments to strengthen early childhood education services.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by regional government officials, women’s organizations, educators, and community representatives from various regencies across Highland Papua. The event also served as a momentum to strengthen the government’s commitment to improving the quality of basic education as part of human resource development in Papua’s mountainous region.

The Highland Papua Provincial Government believes that early childhood education plays an important role in shaping children’s character, discipline, and basic abilities before entering formal formal education. Therefore, synergy among the government, families, and educational institutions is considered essential in creating an excellent, independent, and competitive Papuan generation.
