Intensive Patrols by the Peace Cartenz Operation Task Force Provide a Sense of Security for Residents in Sinak District

Puncak — Personnel of the Peace Cartenz Operation 2026 Task Force continue to intensify patrol activities to provide a sense of safety and comfort for residents carrying out their daily activities in Sinak District, Puncak Regency, Central Papua, on Sunday (March 8, 2026).

The patrols are conducted regularly by visiting several locations where community activities take place, including residential areas and public gathering points. In addition to monitoring the security situation, personnel also engage in direct dialogue with residents to deliver public security messages while listening to community concerns and aspirations.

The Head of the Peace Cartenz Operation 2026, Brigadier General of Police Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that the intensified patrol activities carried out by personnel are part of preventive measures aimed at maintaining security stability in the Central Papua region, particularly in Puncak Regency.

“These intensive patrols reflect the Indonesian National Police’s commitment to providing a sense of security for the community. The presence of personnel among residents also serves as a means to build good communication and strengthen public trust in security forces,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal Ramadhani.

The former Deputy Chief of the Papua Regional Police added that a humanistic approach remains one of the key strategies in implementing the Peace Cartenz Operation to create a conducive security environment in the Papua region.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of the Peace Cartenz Operation 2026, Senior Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that dialogical patrol activities will continue to be intensified as part of efforts to maintain security and ensure that residents can carry out their daily activities safely.

According to Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, the direct presence of security personnel within communities also plays an important role in detecting potential security disturbances at an early stage.

“Through routine and dialogical patrols, we hope the community will feel safer and more comfortable in carrying out their daily activities. The police will continue to be present among the community to maintain security stability,” he said.

The Peace Cartenz Operation 2026 Task Force emphasized that it will continue to strengthen preventive patrols and apply a humanistic approach to ensure that the security situation remains conducive and to support safe community activities in Puncak Regency, Central Papua.
