Sinak – Personnel of the Damai Cartenz Task Force 2026 once again carried out a security patrol in the Sinak District. This activity is part of the Indonesian National Police’s efforts to create a sense of safety and maintain public order in areas that are the focus of security measures under Operation Damai Cartenz 2026, which took place on Wednesday (16/02/2026).
The patrol, conducted with a humanitarian approach, began with a personnel roll call and deployment at the Belukar Post in Sinak District. All personnel ensured their individual readiness, checked equipment completeness, and confirmed clear task assignments before carrying out field activities.
The Head of Operation Damai Cartenz 2026, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, emphasized the importance of applying a humanitarian approach in every operational activity.
“This patrol is not only about maintaining security, but also about building closer relations between officers and the community. We want people to feel safe and to support our presence here. The success of Operation Damai Cartenz depends on a harmonious relationship between the Police and the community,” he stated.
During the patrol, task force personnel directly engaged with local residents, delivered public security messages, and encouraged the community to take greater responsibility for maintaining neighborhood safety and to collaborate in safeguarding regional stability. The patrol was conducted through a persuasive approach to strengthen ties between law enforcement officers and the public.
“The presence of the Police through this humanitarian patrol is expected to provide a sense of security and raise public awareness in maintaining public order. Through a more personal and dialogical approach, we hope to foster harmonious relations between security forces and the community, while preventing potential public security disturbances in the future,” Brigadier General Faizal added.
This patrol also serves as tangible proof of the Police’s commitment to prioritizing a humanitarian approach in security operations in Papua, ensuring that every measure taken contributes to improving the welfare and sense of safety of the local community.
