INTAN JAYA — Personnel of Operation Damai Cartenz 2026, DPP Briptu Bagas Al-Bayyinah A.S, carried out territorial patrols combined with a human-centered approach in the Intan Jaya sector. This activity forms part of the Indonesian National Police’s ongoing efforts to maintain a safe and conducive security situation while building closer ties and trust with the local community.
During the patrol, Briptu Bagas not only conducted security monitoring but also engaged directly with residents. Through friendly greetings and open dialogue, Operation Damai Cartenz personnel listened to community aspirations and conveyed public order and security messages, reflecting the presence of the police as approachable, transparent, and attentive to the social conditions of the people of Intan Jaya.
The Head of Operation Damai Cartenz 2026, Brigjen Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that patrols accompanied by a humanist approach are key to fostering sustainable peace in Papua.
“Peace is not maintained solely through territorial security, but also through the presence of officers who embrace the community with a humanist attitude, respect local wisdom, and build trust. Operation Damai Cartenz 2026 is present to ensure that the community feels safe and protected,” Brigjen Pol. Faizal Ramadhani stated.
The humanist patrol activity received positive responses from local residents. One resident, identified by the initial A, shared that the presence of Operation Damai Cartenz personnel provided a sense of security and calm for the people of Intan Jaya.
“We feel more at ease because the police frequently come to greet and talk with the community. They do not only patrol, but also care about our situation. This makes us feel valued and protected,” the resident said.
Throughout the activity, the security situation in the Intan Jaya area remained safe and conducive.
