Intan Jaya, Central Papua — The Cartenz Peace Task Force continues its efforts to boost reading interest and strengthen human resource development in Papua. On Friday (21/11/2025), 18 task force personnel carried out a teaching program and distributed reading materials to elementary, junior high, and senior high school students across Intan Jaya.
The activity, held from 08:00 to 12:00 WIT, featured interactive learning sessions and the distribution of hundreds of reading books to students. This initiative aims to nurture a strong literacy culture among young Papuans and prepare them to compete in the future.
Among the personnel involved were Bripda Ramadhan Dalif Makaminan, Bripda Alex Logo, and 16 others. Their presence was warmly welcomed, with students showing high enthusiasm throughout the learning activities.
Brigjen Pol Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation, emphasized that literacy is a vital pillar in Papua’s development.
“Education is the foundation for a better future in Papua. We hope this activity motivates children to read more and learn with greater enthusiasm,” he said.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of the operation, Kombes Pol Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., expressed appreciation for the personnel’s ongoing commitment to conducting educational and social initiatives in the field. He noted that such programs form an essential part of long-term efforts to maintain stability and support social development in the region.
The literacy initiative reflects the Cartenz Peace Operation’s commitment not only to security efforts but also to improving educational quality and community welfare in Papua, paving the way for a brighter and more competitive future.
