Pegunungan Bintang, Papua Pegunungan — Personnel of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 held an activity to share moments of joy with children in Oksibil District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, on Thursday (20/11/2025) at 15.30 WIT. This activity aimed to strengthen harmony between security personnel and the community, especially the young generation in the mountainous region.
The activity, which took place along Kotdol Street near the Pegunungan Bintang Regent’s Office, began during the unit’s routine patrol. During the patrol, personnel interacted with children playing in the area. A warm and friendly atmosphere developed as the officers shared laughter, played together, and encouraged the children to stay in school and pursue their dreams.
This simple gesture was enthusiastically welcomed by the children and nearby residents. They appeared cheerful and pleased with the presence of the Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 members, who came with warmth and friendliness. The moment of togetherness became a symbol of the strong relationship between security personnel and the community in maintaining peace in the Pegunungan Bintang region.
The Head of Peace Operation Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that the activity was part of the humanistic approach that characterizes Operation Peace Cartenz in maintaining security throughout Papua.
“We want to show that the duty of security personnel is not only to maintain safety but also to bring a sense of comfort and happiness to the community. Through simple interactions like this, we hope to build trust and strengthen emotional bonds between officers and the public, especially children as the future generation of Papua,” said Brigadier General of Police Faizal.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized the importance of building positive communication and social closeness as part of a sustainable security strategy.
“We will continue to encourage activities like this across all units. Children are the future of Papua, and by instilling a sense of safety and care from an early age, we are building a strong foundation of peace in this region,” said Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma.
