Paniai, Central Papua — To strengthen bonds of humanity between security personnel and local communities, members of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 carried out a social outreach activity titled “Human Touch” with residents and children along Jalan Aikai, Enarotali, Paniai Regency, Central Papua, on Saturday (November 8).
The activity reflects the Police’s continued commitment through Operation Peace Cartenz to build closeness with the people of Papua — not only through security operations but also by fostering warmth, care, and togetherness within local communities.
The Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that such social programs are part of the Police’s humanist approach to maintaining peace and public order (kamtibmas) across Papua.
“We are committed to ensuring that the presence of the Police among the people is not only felt in law enforcement but also through compassion and care. The children and the community are our partners in preserving a peaceful and beautiful Papua,” said Brigjen Pol Faizal Ramadhani.
The event involved several personnel from various sub-task forces — including Public Relations, Health, Psychology, Logistics, Law Enforcement, and Action Units. Among them were Iptu Yosafat Aji C. Samudra, S.Tr.K., M.Si., Ipda Dr. Shintia Novotna Katoda, M.Kes., and Ipda Moh. Arsyad Hafid Affandy, S.Psi., along with other officers who interacted directly with local residents.
Throughout the activity, the atmosphere was filled with warmth and laughter. Children smiled brightly as the officers mingled, shared snacks, and engaged in friendly conversations with the community. The event showcased the compassionate side of law enforcement — officers who serve with empathy and a genuine heart for the people.
Separately, the Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., underscored that this initiative is a key effort to strengthen mutual trust between the community and security forces.
“A humanist approach is fundamental in building public trust and maintaining peace in Papua. We aim to remain present as community partners, not merely as enforcers of security,” stated Kombes Pol Adarma Sinaga.
The activity concluded safely and harmoniously, marking another successful effort by Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 to foster peace through empathy and a heartfelt connection with the people of Paniai.
