Paniai, Central Papua — In an effort to strengthen relationships and build public trust toward security forces, personnel of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 conducted a communication and humanitarian approach activity with the community in Bibida Village, Paniai Regency, on Sunday (October 5, 2025).
The activity was led by Second Police Inspector (Ipda) Nofri Surya Rosa. Through this event, the personnel not only carried out their security duties but also interacted directly with local residents in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
During the occasion, the task force members engaged in casual conversations with the residents, listening to their aspirations and hopes regarding the security situation in the Paniai area. The activity also featured moments of togetherness, such as sharing meals and playing with children in Bibida Village, reflecting the care and familial spirit between the officers and the community.
A sense of warmth and harmony was evident throughout the activity. The residents responded positively to the presence of Operation Peace Cartenz personnel, who were seen as bringing a spirit of peace and genuine concern for the welfare of the local community.
The Head of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Brigadier General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., expressed his appreciation for the implementation of the activity. He emphasized that building communication and closeness with the community is an essential part of the Operation Peace Cartenz strategy.
“A humanitarian approach is the key to maintaining stability and security in Papua. We want the people to feel that the presence of the security forces is not only for law enforcement, but also to protect, serve, and be part of their social life,” said Brigadier General of Police Faizal.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of Operation, Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., added that such activities are a tangible manifestation of the National Police’s commitment to strengthening synergy with the community in the operational area.
“We will continue to encourage all personnel to stay close to the people. Good relations will build trust, and that trust is the foundation for achieving peace and order,” stated Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma.
The activity concluded in a friendly atmosphere, marking the commitment of Operation Peace Cartenz personnel not only to uphold the law but also to foster peace through humanitarian approaches and harmonious communication with the people of Papua.
