Jayapura, Papua – In celebration of the 79th Bhayangkara Day, the Cartenz Peace Operation 2025 carried out a humanitarian mission by providing free medical services and distributing gift packages to residents of Tablasupa Village, RW 1 Amai, Depapre District, Jayapura Regency, on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
The event began at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Indonesia Time (WIT), led by First Police Inspector Dr. Chintya Widodo, supported by personnel from the Health Sub-Task Unit and the Public Relations Unit of the Cartenz Peace Operation. Officers from the Depapre Sector Police, including Brigadier Biliy Depondoye, also contributed to the event.
Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., Commander of the Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, accompanied by Deputy Commander Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., stated that this initiative demonstrates the National Police’s dedication to the well-being of Papua’s communities.
“This is a concrete form of the police’s service to the people. Through free healthcare and the distribution of aid, we hope to strengthen the bond between the police and the community,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal.
Medical services included general health check-ups, free medications, and direct consultations led by Dr. Chintya Widodo and nurse Brigadier Yusrianto. Meanwhile, children received gift packages from the Public Relations team, led by Brigadier Ita Sombo Allo.
Senior Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., Head of the Public Relations Task Unit, emphasized that the initiative is part of a broader effort to foster trust and empathy between law enforcement and local residents.
The event was warmly received by the community. A resident of Tablasupa Village, Oktavina Kisiwaitou, expressed her gratitude: “We are thankful for the free healthcare provided by the Cartenz Peace Operation. We hope this kind of program continues in the future.”
Dr. Chintya also noted the strong enthusiasm from the residents and reported that the event ran smoothly. “This healthcare outreach, in commemoration of Bhayangkara Day, went well without any issues. We hope it benefits the people of Tablasupa,” she added.
The entire activity took place in a safe and orderly manner. Adults received essential medical services, while children joyfully accepted their gifts.
The event reflects the spirit of the 79th Bhayangkara Day in 2025, held under the theme “Police for the People,” reaffirming the Cartenz Peace Operation 2025’s commitment not only to maintaining security but also to promoting humanitarian outreach throughout Papua.
