Jayapura — Chairman of the Youth of Panca Marga for Papua Province and also the Head of Barisan Merah Putih in Jayapura City, Niko Mauri, expressed his appreciation and high regard for Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 for its success in conducting law enforcement operations against the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Papua.
According to Niko, the efforts of Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 have had a significant positive impact on the security and public order situation in Papua, especially in areas previously affected by frequent violent acts perpetrated by KKB.
“What Task Force Peace Cartenz 2025 has done has brought a very positive impact to the security situation in Papua, particularly in regions that have long been plagued by acts of violence from armed criminal groups,” he said on Tuesday (June 17th).
He added that the KKB has long instilled fear among the public through various violent actions that disrupted daily life. However, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the task force, the situation has gradually improved, allowing communities to return to normal life.
“The Peace Cartenz 2025 team has been working seriously to resolve various conflict-related issues, especially in vulnerable areas. Now, the people can resume their activities, children are back in school, and workers can carry out their jobs safely,” he explained.
In light of this achievement, Niko, on behalf of the Papuan community, extended his deepest gratitude to the security forces—particularly the Indonesian National Police (Polri) through Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025—for restoring public safety and enforcing the law against the KKB.
“We highly appreciate the Indonesian National Police, especially through Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, for being present among the Papuan people and providing a sense of safety, comfort, and firm law enforcement against the KKB elements that have long disrupted public order in Papua,” he emphasized.
