Timika — In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1446 Hijri, personnel from the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025 at the Timika Post held a thanksgiving event on Friday morning (April 6, 2025), located at the Ops Peace Cartenz 2025 Public Relations Post in Timika.
The event, which began at 08:15 WIT, was led by the Deputy Head of the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz 2025, Police Commissioner Yusuf Tauziri, S.I.K.
The event opened with a speech from the Deputy Head of the Task Force, followed by a communal prayer led by Briptu Santriawan, and concluded with a communal meal enjoyed by all personnel in a warm and familial atmosphere.
“This thanksgiving is an expression of our gratitude to God Almighty, as well as a moment to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood among all personnel in the midst of our ongoing security duties in Papua,” said Commissioner Yusuf Tauziri in his speech.
The Head of the Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz, Chief Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., encouraged all personnel to use this moment as spiritual and moral reinforcement.
“Eid al-Adha is the perfect time to reflect on the values of service and sacrifice. May this spirit continue to inspire us in maintaining security and peace in Papua,” he stated.
In a moving moment full of togetherness, one of the task force personnel, Bripda Adharmansyah, took the time to call his mother. This moment of exchanging news served as a reminder of how important family support is for personnel carrying out their duties far from home.
The thanksgiving event, held with warmth, simplicity, and solemnity, reflected the deep sense of brotherhood and gratitude among the personnel serving in the operational area.
