Yahukimo, April 14, 2025 — The medical team of Cartenz Peace Operation 2025 has provided medical treatment and psychological support to two gold panners who survived an attack by an Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Yahukimo Regency recently.
The Head of Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, Police Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., accompanied by Deputy Head of Operations Police Commissioner Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., explained that the two survivors were found alive during the search for the body of Aidil in the Tanjung Pamali area.
“Both were successfully evacuated and upon arrival at Dekai Airport immediately received medical treatment and psychological support,” said Brig. Gen. Faizal Ramadhani in a statement.
The two surviving gold panners are:
Johanis Adu, a resident of North Oedai, Oelua Village, Loaholu District, Rote Ndao Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province (NTT).
Suwito, a resident of Tuntungan II Village, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province (Sumut).
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations Task Force of Cartenz Peace Operation 2025, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., added that the medical services were led directly by the medical team of the Cartenz Peace Operation 2025 Task Force to ensure both survivors’ physical and mental conditions were stable.
