Mimika- Mimika Police together with the Cartenz Peace Task Force succeeded in collecting ballot boxes for the Mimika Regency Regional Head Election (Pilkada) in Hoeya District, Sunday (8/12/2024).
Logistics for the 2024 regional elections were held up by the District Election Committee (PPD) since November 27 because third parties did not dare to enter the area following the shooting of the Indonesian Air Force helicopter.
“Already. We have picked up the logistics and PPD officers. “This afternoon at around 11.30 WIB, we were assisted by the Cartenz Peace Task Force,” said Mimika Police Chief AKBP I Komang Budiartha.
He explained that the pickup used two helicopters belonging to the National Police and three helicopters belonging to PT Intan Angkasa with a flight route from Timika city to Hoeya District, then via Agimuga District and finally back to Timika city.
“Earlier he was picked up in the village, his name was Dalmagom. “The pick-up process took place safely and smoothly,” he said.
