Jayapura, October 24, 2024 – As the regional elections are approaching, young Papuan influencer Dave Kubiari invites the younger generation not to abstain from voting and to use their voting rights to determine the direction of Papua’s future.
In his enthusiastic statement, Dave emphasized the importance of active participation by young people in this democracy.
“Are you of productive age to vote? Hello everyone, it’s time for us to speak up!” he exclaimed enthusiastically.
Dave views the 2024 regional elections as a golden opportunity for young voters to show their concern for the future of the region. He stated that every vote is very meaningful and can create positive change for Papua.
Dave also said that if Papuan youth unite and are active in voting, this collective strength will be able to bring about major changes for regional development.
“Imagine, if we all vote, we will become a very big force to build a better Papua,” he added.
Not just a right, Dave reminded that voting is the responsibility of every citizen.
“Your choice and voice are rights and responsibilities that we must protect,” he said.
Dave also encouraged the public to discuss wisely about the existing candidates before making a choice in the voting booth.
“Invite family, friends, and everyone to discuss the existing candidates. Make the wisest choice,” he said.
At the end of his message, Dave reiterated his invitation to Papuan youth not to abstain from voting.
“Come on, don’t abstain! Let’s come to the TPS and show that we care about our region. Together we can realize a prosperous and cultured Papua. Happy voting!” he appealed.
This invitation is expected to be able to encourage the participation of young Papuan voters in this year’s Pilkada, so that the level of participation from young people will increase and bring significant change to Papua.
