Jayapura – Papua Police Chief, Inspector General. Pol. Mathius D. Fakhiri, S.I.K., expressed his condolences for the deaths of two police officers who served at the Ndeotadi 99 police post, Baya Biru District, Paniai Regency, Central Papua Province, including civilians who were also victims.
This was expressed when the Regional Police Chief accompanied by PJU Papua Police visited the deceased’s funeral home. Brigadier (Anm) Sandy Defrit Sayuri at Bucend II Entrop Housing, South Jayapura District, Jayapura City, Papua Province.
“I am very sad about the death of two of my best Bhayangkara, one of whom was the late. Brigadier Sandy Defrit Sayuri who served on the front line in remote areas. “They had to lose their lives because of the actions of my brothers, colleagues, children, younger siblings who have no sense of humanity and who want Papua to always be in that condition,” said the Papua Police Chief in Jayapura City, Saturday (23/ 03/24).
Furthermore, he will order the Jayapura City Police Chief to oversee the funeral process until it is completed.
“As the Papua Police Chief, I will open myself to the families of the deceased who are interested in joining the extended Police family,” he said.
“May the deceased rest in peace there and be accepted by God Almighty. “I hope that this incident can be a memorable moment for Papuans who are still ignorant and are still at odds with the Republic of Indonesia, hopefully in the future they can be touched and not commit similar heinous acts,” he added.
