Ilaga – The border security task force was involved in armed contact with the KKB in Puncak Regency, Papua. One KKB member died in this gunfight.
After the attack on 22 community health center workers, the border security task force Yonif Raider 300, Braja Wijaya chased and there was a firefight with KKB in Eromaga Village, last Friday (20/10).
Evidence was confiscated by members of the Mobile Civil Service Task Force Yonif Raider 300/BJW. namely one drone, one air rifle butt, two communication devices, one laser scope for weapons, seven cell phones, two lights and 12 photos.
Meanwhile, after the gun battle occurred, dozens of residents of Eromaga Village chose to secure themselves at the border security task force post.
The day before, 22 community health center workers who were victims of the KKB attack were evacuated to Timika.
22 victims consisting of 19 survivors, one deceased victim and two injured victims were evacuated using a reven aircraft from Aminggaru Ilaga Airport to Mozes Kilangin Timika Airport.
