TNI-Polri Design Strategy to Save Pilot Susi Air

Jayapura – A special strategy is being designed and finalized by a joint team from the Indonesian National Police, to be able to free the Susi Air Pilot, Captain Philips Mark Marthens from the nest of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB). These steps were carried out after the joint forces of the Indonesian National Police managed to identify the location of the hostage-taking.

TNI and Polri troops who are members of the Carstensz Peace Task Force 2023, according to the Head of the Papua Regional Police, Inspector General of Police. Mathius D. Fahiri, is currently preparing various steps seriously, well, carefully, thoroughly, and with full caution in releasing hostages from the KKB nest led by Egianus Kogoya.

“We are preparing serious, good, careful, thorough and careful steps for the safety of the hostages who are currently in the hands of the KKB. Apart from that, we also pay attention to the safety of the community so that efforts to free the hostages do not affect other communities,” he said. Mathius.

He also hopes for prayers from the community, so that the release of the hostages can be carried out immediately. “We certainly hope for prayers from the community, so that the implementation of the hostage release can be carried out immediately, and in the near future it can be successful,” added Mathius.

According to Mathius, all efforts to search for, up to negotiations for the release of Pilot Susi Air, Captain Philips Mark Marthens, have been carried out by the government, traditional leaders, religious leaders, and the joint security forces of the Indonesian National Police, as well as the Damai Cartenz Task Force 2023.

The two-star police general emphasized that the efforts to free the hostages from the hands of the KKB have now yielded results little by little, in which the whereabouts of the Susi Air Pilot, Captain Philips Mark Marthens, has been identified.
