Paniai — The human-centered approach of Operation Peace Cartenz was once again reflected as its personnel reached out to residents in Bibida District, Paniai Regency, on Saturday afternoon (November 15, 2025) around 16:30 WIT. The simple yet meaningful activity created a warm space for genuine interaction between officers and the community.
Led by Ipda Nofri Surya Rossa, the personnel blended naturally with the daily life of local residents. Children were the most enthusiastic—welcoming the officers with bright smiles, cheerful laughter, and pure excitement. The officers responded with the same warmth, sharing snacks, playing together, and taking photos with the children.
According to Ipda Nofri, this moment of togetherness serves as an emotional bridge between security personnel and the community.
“We aim to foster peace in Papua through interactions filled with care and closeness. Children are our future, and seeing them happy gives us new energy to carry out our duties,” he said.
A friendly and joyful atmosphere filled the area. Residents greeted the officers with open arms, while children happily held the snacks and balls given to them.
Separately, Head of Public Relation Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, Chief Commissioner of Police Dr. Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., emphasized that such activities represent the operation’s commitment to strengthening community trust through a heartfelt approach.
“We continue to encourage every personnel to present themselves with a humanistic spirit. Our duty is not only to maintain security but also to build trust and closeness with the community,” said Chief Commissioner Yusuf.
Through this activity, Operation Peace Cartenz reaffirmed that its presence in Papua goes beyond maintaining public order—it is also about nurturing humanity and reinforcing social bonds within the community.
