Jayapura – The Chairman of KINGMI Klasis Weya Enarotali, Pastor Yunus Yogi, has called on the public to remain calm and maintain security throughout the vote counting process.
“Let us ensure the security so that the counting process can proceed smoothly according to the scheduled timeline,” he stated.
In the current situation, Pastor Yunus noted, various parties have been claiming victory, which could lead to tensions between supporters. He emphasized the importance of staying calm and trusting the election organizers.
“Let the KPU do its work; whatever the result, the elected candidate will be the one who will bring about change,” he said.
Moreover, he urged the community to support law enforcement in maintaining security until the official determination of the candidate results.
“Everything can proceed well if we work together with the authorities to ensure that security remains stable,” he stressed.
