MIMIKA – Efforts to maintain security and provide legal certainty in Papua received appreciation from the youth figure and the Kamoro Tribe community in Mimika Regency, Damianus Samin. He assessed, law enforcement against murder cases in Yahukimo Regency is an important part in creating a sense of security so that people can carry out their daily activities without worry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The appreciation was conveyed by Damianus on Saturday (10\/17\/2026), as a form of support for the implementation of the tasks of the Task Force Police Operation Peace Cartenz in maintaining public security and order and following up on alleged criminal acts in the Papua region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Damianus, the effort to disclose the murder case and the security of the suspected party involved is a step in the law enforcement process that is expected to provide legal certainty as well as maintain public trust in law enforcement officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“As a youth figure and community leader of the Kamoro Tribe in Mimika Regency, I express my highest appreciation and appreciation to the Task Force Police Operation Peace Cartenz which continues to work to maintain security and order in Papua,” said Damianus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added, conducive security conditions have an important meaning for people’s lives. A sense of security is not only related to protection from threats, but also provides space for people to work, do activities, build a family life, and plan for the future better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“For us, a sense of security is not only about being free from threats, but also about how people can live their daily activities calmly, build a life, and look at the future with hope,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, Damianus hopes that all personnel of the Task Force Police Operation Peace Cartenz who are on duty in Papua will always put forward a humanistic, professional, and responsible approach. According to him, the implementation of security tasks needs to go hand in hand with efforts to build a good relationship between the apparatus and the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also invited people from various backgrounds to play an active role in maintaining the security situation in their respective environments. Cooperation between the community and security forces is considered important to create a peaceful atmosphere and support a harmonious social life in Papua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Let’s work together to keep Papua safe, peaceful, and comfortable for all people. Continue to be present for the community, continue to work for security, and continue to join hands to maintain peace in Papua,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
