Therefore, local governments need to continue encouraging the emergence of new entrepreneurs through business development programs, mentoring, access to financing, and broader market opportunities for MSME players,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Adi, strengthening the capacity of MSME entrepreneurs is also essential to ensure businesses can grow and remain competitive at both the regional and national levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that collaboration between the central government, local governments, the private sector, financial institutions, and higher education institutions must continue to be strengthened in order to build a sustainable and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With such support, MSMEs are expected not only to become a key driver of regional economic growth but also to increase household incomes, reduce unemployment, and strengthen economic resilience across Papua.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jayapura \u2013 The development of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector is considered one of the most effective solutions for local governments in Papua to create employment opportunities while strengthening the regional economy.
