Nabire \u2013 In an effort to foster a generation that understands the importance of road safety, the Traffic Unit (Satlantas) of Nabire Police conducted an educational outreach activity through the \u201cHallo Dik\u201d Police Go To School program at SD Negeri 1 Nabire, located on R.E. Martadinata Street, on Monday (June 8, 2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The activity, which took place from 08:00 to 09:30 WIT, focused on delivering traffic safety education to students. The session was led by the Head of the Traffic Safety and Order Unit (Kanit Kamseltibcar), AIPTU Nanto, accompanied by BRIPDA Anitha M. Eurumkui and BRIPDA Rizbert Vicky Tangalayuk, representing Acting Head of the Nabire Traffic Unit, IPTU Hendri Antoro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the session, students were introduced to basic traffic regulations, including the importance of obeying traffic signs, the minimum legal age for operating motor vehicles, and the obligation to wear helmets when riding as motorcycle passengers. Officers also emphasized the importance of discipline, responsibility, and proper behavior while using public roads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, the students received information about vehicle safety requirements and driving documents, as well as the dangers of alcohol consumption and its negative impact on road safety. Through an interactive and engaging approach, the students were encouraged to become agents of change and pioneers of traffic safety within their families and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The \u201cHallo Dik\u201d program serves as one of the preventive initiatives of the Nabire Traffic Police to promote a culture of traffic discipline from an early age. Through continuous education, it is hoped that students will grow into law-abiding citizens with a strong awareness of road safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
