Pegunungan Bintang \u2013 In an effort to maintain security stability and ensure a conducive public order and security situation, personnel from the Carstensz-2026 Peace Operation Task Force conducted a patrol in Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Papua Pegunungan, on Friday (June 5, 2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The activity, which began at 9:35 a.m. WIT, targeted Pomding Village, Kiwirok District. Personnel conducted foot patrols while monitoring the security situation along the patrol route and interacting with the local community as part of the National Police’s humanist approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This tactical patrol is a routine preventive measure to anticipate potential security disturbances and strengthen the state’s presence in the community. Through these activities, personnel also built good communication with residents to stay informed about developments in the Kiwirok District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The presence of Carstensz Peace Operation personnel in Pomding Village received a positive response from the community. In addition to providing a sense of security, patrols also serve as a means to strengthen the relationship between security forces and residents in jointly maintaining environmental security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Head of the Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation, Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., stated that the patrols carried out by personnel are part of ongoing efforts to maintain security stability in the Papua Highlands region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The patrols carried out by personnel are a preventative measure to ensure the security situation remains conducive. Furthermore, the presence of officers in the field also demonstrates the Police’s commitment to public service and an effort to build trust through a humanistic approach,” said Inspector General of Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of the Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation, Senior Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that patrols will continue to be intensified to provide a sense of security to the community in the assigned area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Through routine and humane patrols, we want to ensure that the public feels the presence of the National Police as protectors, guardians, and servants of the community. Synergy and good communication with residents are key to maintaining a safe and conducive public order and security situation,” said Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The patrols revealed that the security situation in the Kiwirok District, particularly Pomding Village, was safe and under control.
