Jayapura – After being included in the wanted list for approximately 7 (seven) years, the suspect Pulan Wonda alias Kamenak is now undergoing further legal proceedings in Jayapura. The suspect was previously secured in an enforcement operation in the Puncak Jaya Regency area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Saturday (4\/4\/2026), the suspect was transferred to Jayapura and arrived at Sentani Airport around 10.25 WIT with the escort of Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation Task Force personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The transfer process is carried out according to the standard operational procedure, with strict escort and still paying attention to the rights of the suspect, including the assistance of the family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Deputy Public Relations Task Force for the Cartenz Peace Operation 2026, AKBP Andria, S.I.K. when met by the media on Saturday (4\/4) explained that all stages of the transfer were carried out in a measurable manner and in accordance with the provisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The process of transferring the suspect is safe and in accordance with the procedure. Escort is carried out strictly, and all stages are carried out professionally and transparently, while still fulfilling the rights of the suspect, including family assistance,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon arrival in Jayapura, the suspect was immediately referred to Bhayangkara TK II Jayapura Hospital to undergo a medical examination as part of the handling procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to AKBP Andria, the step is part of the law enforcement standard that not only focuses on the legal process, but also pays attention to the humanitarian aspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Upon arrival in Jayapura, the suspect immediately underwent a medical examination. This shows that the handling is carried out thoroughly, while still paying attention to the condition and safety of the person concerned,” he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Head of Cartenz-2026 Peace Operation, Inspector General of Police. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos, S.I.K., M.H. said that the entire series of prosecution until the handling of the suspect was carried out in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The entire process, from arrest to transfer, is carried out professionally and in accordance with procedures. We ensure that every stage runs transparently and can be held accountable,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Deputy Head Of Oepration Cartenz-2026, Cheif Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum. added that the investigation process will continue to be developed by the investigation team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The investigation is still ongoing and will continue to be developed to explore the role of the suspect and the possibility of involvement of other parties, according to applicable legal procedures,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Currently, the suspect is undergoing the Investigation Report (BAP) process by the Investigation Subsatgas. This stage is carried out to ensure a thorough and objective disclosure of the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
AKBP Andria also emphasized that the legal process will continue to run gradually by prioritizing the principle of accountability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“In the future, the suspect will undergo BAP and the investigation process will continue to be developed. The focus is to ensure that every stage runs objectively, transparently, and provides legal certainty,” he concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
