The Vice Regent of Nabire, Burhanuddin Pawennari, invited all members of the community to make Eid al-Fitr a turning point to strengthen togetherness amid the diversity of ethnicities, religions, and cultures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEid al-Fitr is an opportunity for us to return to our pure nature, becoming individuals who are more sincere, patient, and caring toward others,\u201d he said while delivering his remarks during the Eid prayer at Al Falah Grand Mosque in Nabire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He emphasized that harmony is a fundamental pillar in maintaining social stability and supporting regional development. Therefore, the values instilled during the month of Ramadan\u2014such as sincerity, patience, togetherness, and social care\u2014must continue to be upheld in daily life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cLet differences become a strength that binds brotherhood, not something that divides us,\u201d he stressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Burhanuddin also urged the public to maintain security and public order, as well as to strengthen ties of friendship, especially during the blessed atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to him, as a pluralistic region, Nabire must continue to nurture the spirit of unity and mutual respect as the main foundation for building a shared future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNabire is our home together. The spirit of unity and togetherness must always be preserved,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of Nabire Regency, K.H. Rohimin Abdul Rahman, in his Eid sermon encouraged Muslims not only to strengthen their relationship with God but also to enhance their care for others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He highlighted the importance of sharing happiness, especially with those in need, so that the true meaning of Eid al-Fitr can be felt by all members of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Eid al-Fitr prayer in Nabire Regency was held solemnly. Despite the rain pouring since morning, it did not dampen the enthusiasm of residents to come to the mosque and celebrate the day of victory in a spirit of togetherness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
