Amidst the community’s activities in this mountainous region of Papua, the presence of officers not only provided security but also fostered a sense of security and closeness with the residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As they walked through the village, several officers were seen greeting residents as they went about their activities. Children, who initially watched from a distance, slowly approached, curious about the officers’ arrival. The warm greetings and smiles returned by the residents made the patrol feel more intimate, as if demonstrating that the officers’ presence was not merely to maintain security but also to become a part of community life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The patrol was conducted around Gigobak Village as part of an effort to maintain security stability and ensure the safe and comfortable running of community activities. In addition to monitoring the situation in the area, personnel also secured several vital objects around Sinak District.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For local residents, the presence of officers in the village signifies the state’s presence to provide protection and a sense of calm, especially in mountainous areas that pose unique security challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Head of the Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation, Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., emphasized that the patrols carried out by personnel not only focus on security aspects, but also on building warm relationships with the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The patrols carried out by our personnel are not solely to maintain security, but also to build closeness with the community. We want the community to feel that the National Police are present as protectors, guardians, and friends to the community,” said Brigadier General Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that a humanistic approach is crucial in creating a safe and conducive situation in Papua, as public trust is key to maintaining security stability in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the Deputy Head of the Cartenz 2026 Peace Operation, Senior Commissioner Pol. Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that synergy between security forces and the community plays a significant role in creating a safe and peaceful environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Security cannot be achieved by the security forces alone. It requires the support and cooperation of the community. Therefore, we continue to prioritize a humanistic approach to build trust and good communication with residents,” said Senior Commissioner Adarma Sinaga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the patrols, the situation in Sinak District was observed to be safe and conducive. Residents welcomed the presence of personnel who routinely patrol their area. Simple greetings, brief conversations, and even small laughs with village children illustrated that security can also be built through closeness and mutual trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
