Governor of Central Papua, Meki Fritz Nawipa, stated that education is a long-term investment that must remain the government\u2019s top priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe development of Central Papua should not only be measured by infrastructure, but by the quality of its people. Therefore, education has been placed as our main development sector,\u201d Governor Nawipa said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explained that the provincial government has prepared various supporting programs, including free education for students at different levels. The program aims to ensure that all children in Central Papua have access to education without being hindered by economic barriers. \u201cThere should be no child in Central Papua who drops out of school due to financial constraints,\u201d he emphasized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to expanding access to education, the provincial government is also focusing on improving the quality and welfare of teachers, particularly those serving in remote and underdeveloped areas. According to the governor, teachers play a crucial role in the success of human resource development. \u201cTeachers are the frontline of education.
