He explained that since being inaugurated on October 8, 2025, the Papua Provincial Government through the Jayapura Hospital has focused on the development of advanced health services that were previously limited and not fully available in the Papua region.

“Since we were inaugurated, the Papua Provincial Government through RSUD Jayapura has developed various advanced health services that were previously limited in Papua. This is our commitment to improve the quality of health services for the community,” said Matius Fakhiri.

Meanwhile, Deputy Governor of Papua Aryoko Rumaropen explained that within 100 working days, Jayapura Hospital has presented a number of superior services, including cancer radiotherapy services, pacemaker installation, hemodialysis or dialysis access operation, and treatment of rare diseases such as Kawasaki.

“These services can now be accessed by the community for free through the BPJS Kesehatan scheme and other financing prepared by the local government. Thus, the community no longer needs to be referred outside Papua to get further medical treatment,” said Aryoko Rumaropen.

In addition to the development of medical services, RSUD Jayapura also implements the internal Participant Eligibility Letter (SEP) policy as a solution for patients who experience administrative problems, especially in emergency conditions. This policy is implemented so that medical services continue to run without hindering patient safety.

“In principle, anyone who comes to the hospital must be served. Patient safety and human values are the top priorities,” he said.

Furthermore, Aryoko Rumaropen added that strengthening the health sector is an important foundation in the development of Papuan human resources. Therefore, local governments are committed to continue to encourage service innovation, increase the capacity of health workers, and improve the service system in referral hospitals.

“This achievement in 100 working days is the first step towards improving health services that are more humane, professional, and siding with the Papuan people,” he concluded.

The Papuan Provincial Government hopes that the presence of advanced medical services at RSUD Jayapura can provide real benefits for the community and improve the health and well-being of Papuan people in a sustainable way.

Jayapura – Papua Governor Matius Fakhiri said that in the first 100 days of his leadership with the Vice Governor of Papua Aryoko Rumaropen, the Papua Provincial Government has presented a number of new medical services at the Jayapura Regional General Hospital (RSUD) as an effort to improve the quality of health services for the

[1

post-34605","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-uncategorized
["GET
