Papua \u2014 Mananwir-Beba Er Ronsumbre, Nehemia Ronsumbre, held a community gathering and government program outreach with dozens of residents of Swapodibo Village, Biak Kota District, Biak Numfor Regency, on Friday (November 14, 2025). Carrying the theme \u201cCommunity Gathering and Outreach to Promote Order and Security in Papua,\u201d the event aimed to socialize various government programs while encouraging the community to take an active role in regional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Four Priority Programs Presented
During his presentation, Nehemia Ronsumbre highlighted four key government programs that require strong community support, particularly in the areas of food security, health, education, and the economy.
First, the Free Nutritious Meals Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This program is designed to ensure that every child receives adequate nutritional intake, especially during school hours.
\u201cThe nutritious meals provided aim to support children\u2019s growth, improve their concentration in learning, and prevent stunting and malnutrition,\u201d said Mananwir in a statement received by RRI, Friday (November 14, 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Second, the Free Health Check-Up Program.
This service represents the government\u2019s concrete effort to build a healthier society. Through this program, residents can access medical examinations and receive quicker treatment at no cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Third, the Red and White Village Cooperative Program.
This initiative serves as the backbone for strengthening the people\u2019s economy at the village level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis program encourages the spirit of mutual cooperation in building an inclusive and fair economic system,\u201d Nehemia explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fourth, the People\u2019s School Program.
This educational initiative is described as a transformative step in Indonesia\u2019s education system. People\u2019s School offers space for teachers and students to learn more creatively, innovate freely, and focus on character building and competency development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Call to Maintain Security and Order
In addition to socializing government programs, Mananwir-Beba Er Ronsumbre emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and security in Papua. He urged the community to avoid actions that could trigger conflict or harm Swapodibo Village.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEspecially for the people of Swapodibo, avoid drinking on the streets or stealing other people\u2019s belongings. We must live in harmony and uphold the spirit of mutual cooperation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nehemia added that the government remains committed to improving the welfare of the people in Biak Numfor Regency, particularly in Swapodibo Village. Various initiatives have been launched to address the community\u2019s basic needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As a form of central government support, the event also included the distribution of basic food packages to Swapodibo residents. The packages consisted of rice, sugar, coffee, tea, and cooking oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Mananwir-Beba Er Ronsumbre, the distribution of this assistance is concrete proof of the government\u2019s presence among the people of Papua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis is the government\u2019s way of helping meet the food needs of those who require support,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
