Jayawijaya \u2013 The Jayawijaya Student Association has called on the young generation of Papua to uphold peace and security throughout the region. This statement was delivered by Jayawijaya youth leader Charles Kosay in a press release on October 20, 2025, ahead of the 97th Youth Pledge Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe young generation of Papua plays a crucial role in maintaining peace and security in our land. We must become agents of change and contribute to creating a safe and peaceful environment,\u201d said Kosay during a press conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Jayawijaya Student Association encourages young Papuans to engage in various activities that raise awareness about the importance of peace and security. \u201cWe must be part of the solution, not just spectators, in building peace and stability in Papua,\u201d Kosay added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The statement also emphasized the importance of the young generation\u2019s role in supporting Papua\u2019s progress toward a prosperous and advanced Indonesia. \u201cWe must set an example for the people of Papua by upholding tolerance and harmony so that Papua can truly become an integral part of a prosperous and developed Indonesia,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
