Jayapura \u2014 Papua Province has once again made a national achievement after being nominated for the Regional Financial Access Acceleration Team (TPAKD) Award 2025 organized by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). This recognition highlights the regional government\u2019s strong commitment to expanding financial access and strengthening community-based economic growth across Papua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Head of OJK Regional Office for Papua and West Papua stated that the nomination was given in recognition of Papua\u2019s effective implementation of various initiatives aimed at improving financial inclusion. \u201cTPAKD Papua has shown remarkable progress through programs such as expanding banking access, facilitating the distribution of Micro Credit (KUR), and promoting financial literacy among rural communities,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added that Papua has demonstrated rapid development in reducing financial access inequality. \u201cThis shows that people in eastern Indonesia are becoming more engaged with formal financial services,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the Papua Provincial Secretary, who also serves as the Head of TPAKD, expressed appreciation for the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders, including local governments, financial institutions, and business actors. \u201cWe remain committed to strengthening financial inclusion so that people in remote areas can fully benefit from sustainable economic development,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The TPAKD Award 2025 serves as a national recognition for regional governments that have successfully advanced financial access and literacy programs.
