The Chairman of the Tabi Indigenous Youth Presidium for Jayapura City, Fran Reynould Thejo, has called on Papuan communities to safeguard peace and public order across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For Fran, this appeal is more than just a call; it is a reflection of collective responsibility. As an anak adat\u2014a son of the land\u2014he believes that preserving security and harmony is part of honoring one\u2019s homeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI urge all Papuans, especially those living in Jayapura City and surrounding areas, to keep our situation safe, peaceful, and conducive,\u201d Fran said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also warned of the challenges brought by today\u2019s digital era, where information spreads rapidly and unverified issues can fuel unrest. With this in mind, Fran stressed the importance of being wise and discerning in responding to news and narratives circulating, especially on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fran\u2019s message was not only directed at the wider public but also at young people, students, as well as traditional and religious leaders. He invited all parties to play their part as guardians of peace in the Land of Cenderawasih.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
