He emphasized that indigenous communities play a vital role in maintaining security, particularly by refraining from spreading unverified news.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cHoaxes only divide us. People must be wise in using social media. We must preserve Papua as a land of peace,\u201d Eluay said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police Chief Umar previously thanked local residents for their cooperation in keeping the situation calm throughout the PSU process. He stressed that safety is not solely the responsibility of security forces but is built through collective effort from all sectors of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The joint appeal serves as a reminder that the digital space should not become a platform for provocation.
